About me
I am passionate about purpose: about how we find meaning in our work and bring ourselves more fully to it, for the benefit of both the organisations we serve and ourselves. This passion is at the heart of my own sense of purpose, as is a belief in the transformative power of having someone to share our challenges and help our development - a trusted Thinking Partner.
I have over 30 years’ experience of working in a variety of positions across the legal, commercial and charitable sectors. This includes being a partner and head of the commercial department at a leading law firm in the south east, where I was part of the Executive Board. I am also a qualified Psychotherapist and this unusual combination of skills and experience enables me to bring a depth of both commercial awareness and psychological understanding to my coaching and consultancy work in order to help facilitate lasting change.
Previous experience includes:
- 20 years' experience as a lawyer, including insolvency, family and general civil litigation
- Leading large teams of lawyers, other professionals and support staff
- Coaching and mentoring lawyers on the partnership and equity tracks
- Managing key client relationships
- Establishing and managing multi-lingual, pan-European centralised service centre teams
- Board experience across legal, service and pension companies
- Trustee and advisor to Boards in the charitable sector
- A mindfulness practice for 20 years
